One of the goals of case study 15 (Growing pulses and innovative crops for a less resource intensive diet’ United Kingdom) is to enable more connections between initiatives creating markets for novel grains and pulses across the DiverIMPACTS network. In order to achieve this goal, we are working with Hodmedods, a company which aims to support farmers in diversifying their cropping systems by supporting the processing, marketing and sale of novel grains and pulses.
As part of this case study, we are looking to create a co-learning community between similar initiatives both here in the UK and across DiverIMPACTS partner countries. This is initially to enable informal contact between the organisations, share knowledge and experiences and potentially videos/exchange visits further down the line.
If there are initiatives in your country that come to mind (which could include social enterprises, businesses and non-profits or a collaboration) – please share with Katie Bliss (katie.b(at)organicresearchcentre.com)
