Third party of ACTA: Terres Inovia, France
Terres Inovia was established in 1957. It is the applied research and development organization for the French sector of vegetable oils and proteins, and the industrial hemp sector. The main crops involved are rapeseed, sunflower, soybean, linseed, pea, field bean, lupine, industrial hemp and other “diversification crops”. The main mission of Terres Inovia is to ensure a sustainable production of these crops by associating economic competitiveness and respect of the environment, by improving the economic competitiveness of the crops through technical means, by adapting production to the economical context, the regulatory requirements and demands of society. Its programs aim to optimize grain production, to value the products and diversify outlets.
Role in project
Terres Inovia will be third party of ACTA, in WP1, WP2, WP3, and WP7. Terres Inovia is in charge of one case study “Diversification of arable crops rotations, specialised on winter crops, under oceanic situations (cereal, oilseed rape with clover, spring pea, sunflower, multispecies service crops).
