TI - Thünen Institute of Biodiversity, Germany
The Johann Heinrich von Thünen Institute, Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries, is a German research institute under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. The Institute of Biodiversity characterizes the functional role of biota in agroecosystems and landscapes and assesses how biodiversity reacts to the type and intensity of land use. TI networks on comprehensive assessment issues for agro-policy decisions for sustainable use and protection of ecosystem services.
Role in the project
In DiverIMPACTS, TI will mainly be involved in work package 3.
